Meet Jill, Your Partner in Growth
Hi, I’m Jill, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State and the founder of Ripples & Roots Therapy, PLLC. I created this practice to support women who are strong, capable, and caring, yet often find themselves overwhelmed and questioning, “Is it supposed to feel like this?”
My journey began as a driven career woman who chose to start a family, leading to a profound shift in perspective. I learned that my drive is meant to be shared and to support other women who have found themselves on a similar journey.

For Moms & Mothers-to-Be
Therapy for women and mothers who are tired of pretending they’re fine. Motherhood can be beautiful—and also lonely, loud, overwhelming, and nothing like the pictures you see online. At Ripples & Roots, we work on:
- Postpartum emotional health: naming what you’re feeling, understanding why it’s happening, and learning tools to cope
- Nervous system regulation: calming your body when it feels like everything is too much
- Realistic expectations: separating your values from everyone else’s opinions and the noise of social media
- Reclaiming identity: making space for you again—your dreams, needs, and joy
You are not broken. You are a human being going through a major life transition without enough support. Therapy is a place where that support finally shows up.

FAQ
At Ripples & Roots, we believe in the power of personal growth and the strength of women.
What can I expect in the first session?
Our first session is mostly about getting to know you—your story, what’s bringing you in, and what you’re hoping will feel different. We’ll talk about your goals, answer any questions, and decide together on a plan that feels doable.
How long will I be in therapy?
It depends on your needs. Some clients come for a few months to work through something specific; others stay longer for deeper support and growth. We’ll check in regularly about what’s working and what you want from our time together.
Do I have to be a mom to work with you?
No. While I specialize in supporting mothers and perinatal clients, I also work with women navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, and burnout—whether or not kids are part of the picture.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions for clients located in Washington State.
What if I’m nervous about starting therapy?
That’s completely normal. You don’t have to know exactly what to say or what your goals are yet. We’ll figure it out together, at your pace.
What’s your cancellation policy?
“Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.”
